Meet the Coaches

hi! i’m megan — lancaster born + raised, former college athlete, full-time coach, small business owner, mom of two wild boys, + your biggest hype girl when it comes to movement, mindset + making life feel a little more fun.
from the time i could walk, i was playing every sport under the sun. i eventually found my groove on the soccer field, which led me to a full division i scholarship to play at james madison university. go dukes! i majored in kinesiology, minored in business, + was lucky enough to be mentored by one of the greats — coach greg werner, who shaped my early career + sparked my love for strength + conditioning.
fast forward to today — i’ve spent the past 15+ years working in nearly every corner of the fitness world. from personal training + corporate wellness to boxing programs, boutique studios + now, living the dream as the founder + ceo of tread house — my pride + joy right here in the heart of lancaster, pa.
i hold a handful of nationally accredited certifications (acsm cpt, afpa pre/post natal specialist, rrca run coach + trx to name a few), but what really lights me up is helping people discover what they’re capable of — physically, mentally + emotionally.
when i’m not coaching, running our gym, or nerding out on training programs, you can find me hanging with my husband justin, chasing our boys dylan + bennett around the backyard, or walking our two pups — penny the mini golden doodle + eleanor the gentle giant bernese mountain dog.
i also proudly rep lululemon as their legacy lancaster run ambassador — so come log some miles with me at one of our tread house run club meet-ups! i believe deeply in the power of connection through movement, + that the best workouts are the ones that make you feel like your strongest, happiest self.
whether we’re lifting heavy, running fast, or just showing up to try — i’m here to cheer you on every step of the way.

What’s up y’all, my name is Mark, and I’m STOKED to join the Tread House community!
I grew up in Alpharetta, GA before attending Villanova University and subsequently serving in the Army based out of Fort Hood (Cavazos), TX. After completing my time in the service and moving to Lancaster, I wanted to continue to serve my community and build relationships with people of all backgrounds through fitness.
I’ve always been passionate about functional fitness, and bringing out the competitive drive in clients to improve their overall quality of life—not just physically. I love working with a diverse team to accomplish goals as well as watching everyone support each other along the way, and I look forward to bringing y’all my best!

Hey Tread House! My names Ali but lots of people call me Fro or Froede.
Originally from Northern VA, I found my way to Lancaster after college to play on the USA field hockey team which was based here locally. After 5 years of competing internationally and making hockey a full time job, I switched career paths and went back to school to become a registered nurse.
As I looked to find a new normal post athletics - I found that small group fitness and HIIT style workouts checked the boxes and type of community I was looking for. I love that Tread House provides a challenging and authentically badass environment to fulfill my competitive spirit.
Reasons I love coaching: getting people out of their comfort zones, seeing people reach their goals, and playing good jams!
I can’t wait to coach and sweat with you all!

what’s up Tread House! my name is Nicole + i’m beyond excited to join this amazing community!
i’ve always loved being active — at 4 yrs old i fell in love w/ soccer + never looked back. i played d1 soccer at jmu, was team captain my jr + sr years, named third team all-caa, + got to win a caa championship. while there, i earned my degree in health sciences + minored in communication sciences + disorders. after graduation, i earned my BSN at waynesburg u + now work full time as an RN in labor + delivery.
being able to move my body has always been huge for me — from long road rides in the countryside to running city streets + throwing weights around in the gym. when i found TH in 2023, i immediately fell in love w/ the electric atmosphere, the challenge of the workouts, + the incredible ppl that fill this space. i’m so pumped to be part of this team, to coach you, + to keep training hard beside you!

My name is JoEllyn Poff, but you can call me Jo! I am an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist.
I met Megan in 2017, when we began working together in the presale stage of a new fitness studio. Our vibes meshed immediately! After coaching/head coaching at OTF for two years, I had to hang up my stopwatch to focus on my family’s needs for a year, becoming a learning coach to my two daughters.
My passion for coaching and connecting with others only grew stronger throughout the pandemic, and I was incredibly honored to join Tread House. Their core values align perfectly with my own goals as a coach, and as such, I love working with this rockstar team. I cannot wait to coach you all!

Hi everyone, I am so excited to join the Tread House Community! I started taking classes a little over a year ago and love the energy here!
I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA but moved to Lancaster in 2005. I live in Landisville with my three children and work full time at Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development as the Development Coordinator.
I have been teaching group fitness since 2016 and fall more in love with it each year. My favorite part is working with members to build their confidence into doing things in the gym they never thought they could do. I have experience working with all ages and fitness levels, as well as providing safe options for those who may need them.
I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and learning more about your fitness goals and how I can help you achieve them!
