  • Deadlifts are cool, but nah, fam. Tread House provides coach-led classes that combine cardio and strength training focusing on a different muscle group each day. The vibe is positive, uplifting, and fun! To learn more, see our Workout and Classes pages.

  • A water bottle, a towel, and an enthusiastic attitude. Or whatever attitude you can muster that day. The hardest part is showing up – we’ll help with the rest! Check our our First-Timers page to learn more about what to bring and what to expect.

  • No! We encourage you to work out and push yourself according to how you feel, not by what a device is telling you. And cell phones are prohibited inside the Tread House studio. (They are permitted to be kept in the lobby.)

  • On Penn Square in downtown Lancaster — so there is primo people-watching while you’re on the treadmill. More specifically, our address is 28 Penn Square, Suite 160, Lancaster, PA 17603. Our main entrance is around the back of the building, off South Queen Street.

    The lot behind our building provides free parking during the following class times only: 5:00 am, 6:15 am, 5:30 pm, 6:45 pm, and ALL Saturday classes.

  • Yes! We have two bathrooms that include showers, toiletries, and hair dryers, so you can get your sweat on, then get your clean on.

  • Tread House takes the health and safety of our community seriously. We worked with LGH Penn Medicine to develop policies and procedures specifically for our fitness studio and received several certifications in how to keep it clean and sanitized.

    Masks are not required inside the Tread House studio. For some classes, you must show proof of vaccination to attend. These classes are clearly labeled on our Book a Class page and in the Tread House app. Tread House may update our policies and procedures as the pandemic evolves.

  • Rock, rap, trap, country, reggaeton, pop, you name it. Nineties Throwback Day? Uh-huh. Bad Boy vs. Death Row Records? Oh yeah. Our coaches build our playlists to get you hyped. You may hear colorful language.
