Meet the Coaches

I am Lancaster born and raised + grew up playing every sport under the sun. From a very young age, competitive athletics has been in my blood. Eventually, I found that soccer was the sport I loved the most + had the natural ability to excel at.
I played varsity basketball, soccer, + tennis at Lancaster Catholic High School + earned a full Division I scholarship to play collegiate women’s soccer at James Madison University, where I majored in kinesiology + minored in business. I am so grateful to have been coached by + to have worked with one of my mentors, Coach Werner, who was the Head of Strength + Conditioning for JMU Athletics + is now at Virginia Tech! Coach Greg played a pivotal role in guiding me toward my first professional role as an exercise specialist in corporate fitness.
I have been a part of the fitness industry for over 15 years in a wide variety of positions: personal training, managing a Fortune 500 company’s fitness center, managing + opening a local boutique fitness studio, directing a boxing program, + now having the good fortune to own, manage + operate my very own small business. I have several nationally accredited certifications, including ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, AFPA Pre & Post Natal Exercise Specialist, RRCA Run Coach, + TRX. I am also stoked to represent Lululemon Lancaster for the past 3 years as their Run Ambassador! Join me on a run as we meet monthly in the local community to move together + log some miles.
Outside of the sweat life, I love spending time with my husband Justin, our two boys Dylan + Bennett, + I can’t forget to mention our furry girls Penny (mini golden doodle) + Eleanor (Bernese Mt Dog).

Hey Tread House! My names Ali but lots of people call me Fro or Froede.
Originally from Northern VA, I found my way to Lancaster after college to play on the USA field hockey team which was based here locally. After 5 years of competing internationally and making hockey a full time job, I switched career paths and went back to school to become a registered nurse.
As I looked to find a new normal post athletics - I found that small group fitness and HIIT style workouts checked the boxes and type of community I was looking for. I love that Tread House provides a challenging and authentically badass environment to fulfill my competitive spirit.
Reasons I love coaching: getting people out of their comfort zones, seeing people reach their goals, and playing good jams!
I can’t wait to coach and sweat with you all!

My name is JoEllyn Poff, but you can call me Jo! I am an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist.
I met Megan in 2017, when we began working together in the presale stage of a new fitness studio. Our vibes meshed immediately! After coaching/head coaching at OTF for two years, I had to hang up my stopwatch to focus on my family’s needs for a year, becoming a learning coach to my two daughters.
My passion for coaching and connecting with others only grew stronger throughout the pandemic, and I was incredibly honored to join Tread House. Their core values align perfectly with my own goals as a coach, and as such, I love working with this rockstar team. I cannot wait to coach you all!

Hi everyone, I am so excited to join the Tread House Community! I started taking classes a little over a year ago and love the energy here!
I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA but moved to Lancaster in 2005. I live in Landisville with my three children and work full time at Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development as the Development Coordinator.
I have been teaching group fitness since 2016 and fall more in love with it each year. My favorite part is working with members to build their confidence into doing things in the gym they never thought they could do. I have experience working with all ages and fitness levels, as well as providing safe options for those who may need them.
I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and learning more about your fitness goals and how I can help you achieve them!

What’s up y’all, my name is Mark, and I’m STOKED to join the Tread House community!
I grew up in Alpharetta, GA before attending Villanova University and subsequently serving in the Army based out of Fort Hood (Cavazos), TX. After completing my time in the service and moving to Lancaster, I wanted to continue to serve my community and build relationships with people of all backgrounds through fitness.
I’ve always been passionate about functional fitness, and bringing out the competitive drive in clients to improve their overall quality of life—not just physically. I love working with a diverse team to accomplish goals as well as watching everyone support each other along the way, and I look forward to bringing y’all my best!
